Markhaven Rd-Bathroom Remodel
A leak inside the shower floor/bench caused a leak to the ceiling below and the shower not be used for a long time. The leak had been going for an extended period of time and caused the wood in the threshold and bench to rot and lead to ants invading the wet structure. They decided to remodel the shower and bathroom. After demolition, Schluter waterproofing system was installed on the shower floor & walls. Schluter Ditra tile membrane was installed on the bathroom floor. In the shower we installed a new Riobel faucet system, prefinished niche and LED light. A knee wall finished with quartz replaced the wall and the plumbing was moved to the opposite wall. Subway tiles were installed on the walls & black square mosaics on the floor. The bathroom floor had 12"x24" black tiles installed.
The textured stucco walls were replaced with drywall and a smooth finish. Custom glass sliding shower doors create an inviting entry.
Henricks Rd-Kitchen Remodel
Two load bearing walls removed to completely open up the space. Kitchen sink & ductwork was relocated. Stucco ceiling in living room removed. Insulation increased to r-14 with new drywall.
Schluter floor warming system and Ditra membrane installed under 24"x24" polished tile. Modern baseboards installed. Other trades involved: Structural engineer, Electrician, gas fitter, cabinet maker/installer & stone fabricator.
Emeline Cres-Shower Remodel
There was leak inside the faucet wall to the linen closet & kitchen ceiling. Customer had tried to have the leak fixed a few times. They had also tried re-grouting and re-caulking, but it did not solve the leak. They decided to remodel the shower and after demolition, Schluter waterproofing system installed on floor & walls. New faucet, prefinished niche and LED light were installed. Polished porcelain tiles were installed on the walls & curb using Raimondi tile leveling system. The glass shower doors were removed and reinstalled.
Keffer Circle-Bathroom Remodel
Remodel of bathroom. Removed stand in shower, tub/walls, vanity, floor & toilet. Leveled & installed new sub-floor w/Schluter uncoupling membrane. Rigid foam insulation installed on 2 exterior walls. Waterproofed shower area with Schluter Kerdi Board wall panels. Installed 12"x24" tiles on shower walls using Perfect Level Master tile leveling system. 6"x6" patterned tiles on floor. Mosaic tiles in shower floor with Schluter pan/drain assembly. 2 way shower faucet with rain shower head. Low 3" curb with glass doors. Fold up seat & Schluter SHELF-E. All tiled edges finished with Schluter Rondec Brushed Chrome. Tiled baseboards throughout finished with Schluter SCHIENE Brushed Chrome. Led lighting with Panasonic lighted bath fan.
Drakefield Rd-Load bearing wall removal.
Removed 2 walls, one load bearing & one non-load bearing to create an open concept kitchen & living area. 22' double LVLs installed in attic space flush with ceiling.
